With Geeves and Butterworth out I would have given Krejza another go. I guess he wasn't taking anywhere near enough wickets.

Good to see Adam Griffith back.

Notice that Edmondson is back playing today. Good timing, Western Australia are struggling for fit pace-bowlers.

Not a great bowler by any stretch, but someone who will provide a wicket taking option. Considering the economy rate he holds in OD and FC, he still has a perfectly respectable record as a strike bowler.

On fox it said symmo not in qlds plans for net kfc cup,based on the fact he won't play club cricket,he was awful this season.
Qld looking for a world class batsmen + vettori.
I guess he can play in nz or s africa now,if they want him.

GC Batticciotto is in poor form lately out for 1. We need Hartley to bail us out again.

Educated guess, but surely a greentop at least for the first session! I mean QLD were batting at under 1.5 rpo for ages and both teams have a spinner as 12th man.

QLD have recovered to be 4/179, Townsend 102* and Hartley 50*. C.Hartley is having an awesome with the bat in the four day matches, sensational.

In the other game WACA 2/125 against SACA, hopefully North can score big, he is currently 19*

Thats stumps on day 1 in the SA vs WA game

Redbacks doing well, bowling WA for 284..Haberfield and Christian with a bag and Putland with 2 on debut, George was dissapointing .

Redbacks are 1/19 in reply, Harris gone from a yorker for a duck, hopefully that can bat well tommorow and push past W.A's total.

Cosgrove injured for ths match with his wrist problem again, Cooper replaces him.

Where is Mark cleary? injured? he should be in the side before Putland..the selectors better not have bloody dropped him. someone to check if he has been playing grade cricket.

Every time I've seen him bat this season, even when he's gotten a low score, he's been stinging fielders' hands. Looks a million bucks for a while then gets out to a bone-headed shot. Baffled why he hasn't got a big Shield score this year.

Looking forward to Christian backing up his 4 for with some big runs. Man this guy is standing up as a good state cricketer. One feels runs in Shield aren't far away after his last few knocks.

Yeah was looking at some SA grade scores and Mark cleary is playing for his grade side Kensington but he is not bowling so he's injured his back again probably, playing as a batsmen.
