Yeah, it was on the RJR website, and it's now made its way around the world....

Still no confirmation from Gibson, who'se been very quiet over it.

So this is starting in a week or so. It's struck me again just how ridiculously weak this West Indies squad is. A full-strength team would be beaten by Australia, but take four of the best players out of it and yikes. Big chance for a couple of individuals in particular, and I still think West Indies will put up more of a fight than Pakistan. But that's almost certainly wishful thinking.

Their top order is piss poor...but their 6-9 (if they pick the right teams) could be pretty deadly.

I think Dwayne Smith, Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo need to all be in the team. No point picking an out and out spinner if he's not going to be that effective considering you can pick Gayle and Deonarine in the top order to bowl 10+ overs between them.

Well, they can't do worse than Pakistan....

Well that sucks absolute balls.

Gayle now becomes the only ODI standard batsman in the entire squad. What a waste of time this will be.

Prime Ministers XI on tomorrow, couldnt get the day off work so cant go but will be a decent match. Theres a bit of rain around and more forecast for tomorrow so I doubt it will be a full match.

The plan was always to take down the machine from the inside. Can you blame us for sending a substandard bits-and-pieces player as our double agent?

Apparently Windies are/were 0/108 off 10 overs with Gayle 80* from 35 balls against the Prime Ministers XI this morning.

Now 159/0 in the 20th with Gayle 106* from 61 balls and Dowlin 43 from 57 balls. Young Peter George has copped it a fair bit 0/58 from 4 overs.
