Lance Gibbs, clearly not the quality of my other players, but for $6, I'll take him, and that fills my spinner role. :) So pretty happy with the value for money.

The great thing about him is his economy rate of less than 2.0. He can definitely keep an end tied down and allow my main bowlers of McGrath and Miller to take bunch of wickets. As I said, I am going to have to make sacrifices due to my budget so Gibbs is not the quality of the others, but still a very good player.

Miller, McGrath, Gilchrist, Hutton, Gibbs!

Had a feeling you might go for Kapil after pursuing Botham.

I am not sure if I want to go for one more bowler, or two. Miller gives me great flexibility there. I do like my bowling attack, so either go for one really good bowler and pad up my team with OK batsmen and have a lot of them, or two OK bowlers. We'll see who is available.

Looking at all the teams, it's hard to pick a best one so far when you take into account remaining budget (which is of course an unknown)

Did you go for him? Tyson and McGrath would have been the perfect fire and ice combination.
No, I thought about it, but decided to hold off making a big play this last round. I have a few players in my head that are remaining that I'll go hard at. I obviously have to take account my budget considering my initial splurge. I thought I could get a really good deal this round, and Lance Gibs for six dollars - I was right.

I assume then that you're still looking for a batsman that bowls in your remaining batsmen selections?
Possibly not, I have Kapil Dev, Marshall and three front line bowling spots available. I dont think I really need any more bowling than that.
