I am not surprised, though it is unusual. Its actually and interesting question, what would a Pakistani player have to do to suprise me?
You know, these type of comments used to infuriate me. Sadly these days, I just shrug and think to myself "the sentiment is pretty accurate".

Has anyone heard the post match interview between Afridi and an Aussie (Channel 9 or ABC, I'm not sure) where Afridi suggests he was smelling the ball to judge the condition of it!?!

That's up there with "the dog ate my homework" & "the cheque's in the post" as piss-poor excuses go.

Did he elucidate as to exactly what his olfactory glands could tell him about the state of the ball?!!? "Hmm. Smells like it'll start to reverse in about five overs"

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
This is just dying out to be made into a Pakman game. Everything is perfect.

This is the funniest thing to happen in cricket for a while. Certainly livened up the end to what was a dull ODI series.

Reckon we should create an outlaw version of the game (and no, not like the ICL) where anything goes. Ball tampering, underarm, chucking, tackling, aluminium bats, pitch tampering, fielders on segways and run zones (like that of the tabletop game 'Test Match').

I have a feeling that he didn't want to captain this demoralized and crashed pakistani team.. and ruin his 20/20 captaincy record..So he did it in purpose.. but what a stupied thing to do..Damn it man..
Lol. That's a theory, i guess.

And it seems that he did it more than once. In the clip before the commentary, it was Asif and after that it was Naved.
