Happy to see Citeh win again if for no other reason than it'll be interesting to see who they buy should they secure European football (plus it keeps the boss in a good mood as it's his family's money )

Vidic had a worsening of his injury I see, wonder if this is why Man U are having this somewhat desperate second appeal over Rio?

They'll talk all they want about the skill by Nani there, but that defending was inexcusable really. Two on one and bisected so easily?

Yes, great finish by Almunia for the first though.
Credit where it's due TBF - it was brilliant football from Nani, a shame that such build up has to go down as an own goal. As Jamie just said, if Messi or Ronaldo did that we'd be building a shrine to them.

Reckon the Gunners fans on here are being too defeatist too quickly though - it could easily be 2-2, and personally I'm still ****ing nervous about the next 45.

Loving Nani's sense of humour though, getting his ****e identical twin brother to play in his place for the past two years.

It was a ridiculous bit of invention by Nani but by the same token the defending by Clichy and Denilson was putrid. Almunia's keeping equally hilarious. Denilson was meant to be covering the space for Clichy at the corner and just strolled along as Nani steamed forward.

On the plus side I'm comforted by the fact we still have 7 hours to sell him. Quietly confident we'll get it done.

I wouldn't. Yes, it was skillful, but it's still poor defending to be beaten that easily.

I hope Arsene is getting angry at himself on the bench there. Not sure who else he can be angry with.
