Yeah, I bid about 200K less than you ss on Hutton. Was short by 100K on Tendulkar as well lol..

Could I have bid a bit lower and got Pollock? Somehow I feel he's more than worth what I bid for him..

There were others ahead of you for Hutton and you only just got Pollock.

When this is all over I'll upload the spreadsheet so everyone can look at who bid what.

Delighted to get Kallis.

Butcher
Kallis
Ames+
Hadlee

Looks pretty good to me. Three players I have spent highly on because of their allround value and a passable player for $1.

This is insane, my run of Poms continues.

EngaNufan - Hobbs+Botham+Knott+Laker

I'm going to bid low on Ealham and Tyson just so I can get someone from another country.

That's a good base to work from. The key is that I haven't spent masses of money to get them.

Roughly what did you bid for Botham?

Was outbid by just over $1million for Bradman, though TBH I think the balance of my side will be better without him as with Barry Richards I've still more than half my budget left nearing the halfway point of the draft.

Ok thanks.
Haha, what are you trying to work out?

I think I actually spent a little bit too much on Both. Pretty sure it was $1,400,700 - that sounds like a figure I would come up with.

I went for Bradman, Tendulkar, Botham, Kallis - I wanted someone who had a long career and was either a gun bat, or the best bowling option from the list seeing as though at this stage in the draft I only had a spinner Laker.

Just trying to see how close my bid was to yours, i was a little off, but not a whole lot but I suspect there would have been a few between our bids.

Very pleaed to get Barrington, don't think I could have got many people who average 58 in test cricket for that price.

Kind of a shame I didn't get Phil Mead though.
