The match ends in a draw, as the Bajans use a little bit of time-wasting....

Did Ganga leave the declaration too late?

No, the only reason Barbados had to hang on was because they'd played stupid shots. If they gave the target a positive approach, they would have gotten to the target in the time they had. Instead they just muddled along toward a draw and then decided to liven things up with a dose of suicidal strokeplay.

It's great to see Imran Khan making some serious noise. All I know is he is a quickish leg spinner and hard hitting batsman so I'm hoping Mr Mxyzptlk can tell us a bit more about his bowling, is it likely to be anything close to international standard (granted that Benn is a pretty poor indicator of international standards) ?

Haven't seen him this season, but he seemed to show genuine attacking intent previously. As far as I'm concerned, if a bowler shows good control, is attack-minded, and gets people out, he deserves exposure at some higher level. I still rate Odean Brown higher as far as legspinners go, but as I say, I haven't seen him (or Brown) this season.

T&T team news

William Perkins, Sunil Narine, Shannon Gabriel, Daron Cruickshank - IN
Ravi Rampaul, Denesh Ramdin, Lendl Simmons (to WI) and Rayad Emrit (dropped) - OUT

Gabriel supposedly a real livewire fast bowler. Would be interesting to see how he goes.

As i said when the WI ODI team was announced Rampaul shouldn't be anywhere near the side right now, he's been rubbish for T&T since the tests in Australia, and it's funny how we were just talking about Narine!! , hopefully he can grab his chance with both hands.

Well, Rampaul is on his way to Australia now, like Ramdin and Simmons....

Good to see Perkins and Cruickshank in.

Yep the 3 Under 19 standouts Braithwaite, Holder and Dowrich are all from Barbados. Their future is suddenly looking quite rosy when you consider Roach is only 21 as well.

T&T 122-4. Jason Mohammed (U-19 graduate) hanging in there with 36*. Gibran Mohammed (wicketkeeper-batsman) is in with him now, so not much to come. Just Dave left, among recognized batsmen after these two.

Guyana in trouble at 94-5 v CCC, leading by 126.

Gabriel apparently stirring the crowd with some very quick bowling. Apparently has a noball problem though. He bowled three in a row in his last over, beating Hodge with one of them and bowling him comprehensively with another.

Congrats to the CCC on beating Guyana....

It will be interesting to see who wins that tussle between Leewards and Trinidad, which is on a knife-edge.

Batsmen are not troubled by the pink ball, in the day/night game between Barbados and Windwards. So, no scares there....

What is CCC? By the name it sounds like a bunch of students but then a 28 yr old former Test cricketer has just spun them to victory

Combined Campuses and Colleges. Basically the studying cricketers and a couple of veterans to help them out.

And Ryan Austin is only a former Test cricketer in that he played for the C team against Bangladesh. Not the worst offspinner though. Gets some decent turn with good accuracy.

Imran Khan continues his remarkable surge towards the highest level with two half centuries in a low scoring game and 7 wickets with his leg spin bowling to lead T & T to victory.

In other news, Darren Bravo has made his comeback from injury and should be in the T & T lineup for the next round.
