Lol, do you play with Calvin?
I was going to voluntarily ask to step down for this week, we have a squad of 16 and quite a few are consistently missing out. Plus we have a bye on 7s week so would mean a 2 week break. Will see how it goes though

Nah I dont. I was born there but left when I was 12 when my parents moved. Played 4 seasons rugby & cricket in Hamilton then decided to return to my roots.

I played rugby with Calv last year he'll know me by my username, haha. He was trying to get me to play for Te Aroha last time we played saying I would open the bowling lol because our captain didn't bowl me that game I was specialist fielder, ha

Close to 40 innings averaging 42, 17 one dayers averging 49 doesn't sound like a dud. I spoke to Greatbatch when he was over here with the emerging players. He said it was a sad storey, he had a lot of potential, mentioned that some batting coach tried to change is grip that may have effected his game last year and that he had a couple of issues off the field.
Noticed he scored 36 against Australia A that included Tait and other top notch Ozzie bowlers. Not out 60 against England Lions that included plunket and Mahmood how troubled the Ozzie's in the ODI's in 2008
I got the feeling he was had to dismiss which is what we lack in the Blackcaps currently. Seems very strange for him to just disappear from first class cricket !!!

Yeah he seemed to get alot of not outs. No doubt he'll pop up again in the not too distant future

Yep tied gone to an elimantor over, great of sky to have a camera at the cd vs nd game to, Ross Taylor was pumped after hitting that six.
