It spins a bit, but the spin is slow off the pitch. The indian batsman should be easily capable of knocking him around of the back foot, but they've been deceived by flight.

Have you heard him speak? Total northerner. It was funny listening to Ian Smith interviewing after his innings, and trying to establish some sort of 'kiwi' bond.

A problem for the Kiwi team is that our no. 6 to 11 batsman haven't been properly tested yet while the Aussie order has had a decent hit.
Hope we don't have a lower order collapse (if they're needed ).

They're not called off yet, but the weather is pretty awful all round the country at the moment, so I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually are.

And no, there are no reserve days. If the match is rained off it means the higher ranked team will go through to the semi's (so in this case, England and Pakistan would qualify).

Thanks for the info, i guess it's a good thing that the Windies game is on then  , latest score is 66/2 in 15 overs, the game has been reduced to 36 overs so i guess that's not a bad score, the brilliant Braithwait is yet again keeping us in it and he's got Creary for support, Creary hasn't showed his best form yet so i hope this is the day, i think we'll need something close to 200 to have a chance of winning.

Pakistan vs India reduced to 23 overs a side, Pakistan won the toss and are bowling, have taken a wicket with the first delivery of the innings.

India v Pakistan just started too, it's a 23 over game and Pakistan have just taken a wicket with the first ball, it was a brilliant delivery to be fair, and the Windies are 146/5 with 29 overs gone.

And India are now 3/2, they've started very badly indeed and Pakistan look the real deal right now.
