Obviously if you call them out on their home turf, you've got to expect a reaction. Good for them, hopefully they'll show more fight and put up some good shows. One of the best things as a fan is to go to the stadium and boo and harass the other team, it's awesome. Obviously, you can't cross a line, but it's fun throwing out a bit of booing and some fun slogans. It's half the reason I go to Eagles games (OK, it's all the reason).

In any case, Sehwag is the captain, and you can't say he only speaks for himself - as the captain, you represent the team, regardless of whether everyone in the team believes the same as you or not.

I dont know why people are being so harsh on Bangladesh here. What else did you guys expect when the number 1 team plays against the number 10 team? Infact, if people are aware of Bangladesh's performances, they would realize that they actually performed pretty well in this test match. Sri Lanka lost by an innings in a match. Bangladesh didnt lose by that great a margin.

The second game should be extremely interesting. With Laxman out, we should get to see Murali Vijay launch an attack on Yuvraj Singh's spot in the team as the young middle order batsman. Ishant will get an opportunity to continue the good bowling shown in the second innings too, although I'm sure fans will be keen to see him bowl on the business side of 135kph; as his seaming deliveries will be exponentially more deadly if delivered at substantial speed. Moreover, with Harbhajan returning and Sreesanth likely out injured, India should go in with the far superior tactic of two spinners, which should allow us to roll over Bangladesh in both innings, in Bangladeshi conditions.

It's hilarious to blame the players, not the system and infrastructure that produces them. If the players are not up to the standard, there is not much you can do about it. Very few people go out and give less than their best. If anything, the captain should ask the head of the BCB to kneel for failure to produce quality cricketers.
