What exactly has Mike Hussey done wrong in the T20's to be left out of anyones side. Smells of hypocrisy for mine that everyone whinges about the selectors not picking enough T20 specialists and pick the side based on ODI and Test form yet a lot of people here seem to be leaving him out based on Test form from a few months ago. Don't get it.

I quite like this team. I'm not 100% sold on Rimmington yet, despite his excellent figures I don't think he would perform so well for Australia. I would be looking at bringing in Harris or maybe Hauritz instead.
I also wish to scrap James Hopes from my bench in my earlier post.

His record is not that good - also can't bowl.
I would back Warner, Marsh, White, Hodge, Watson over him.
And I also think his brother, who is a smash hit T20 bowler, is better value.

Missed IPL 2008 then. Plus him being able to bow in that format is hardly a good reaosn for him not tbe picked, he would be top finisher @ # 6/7 in AUS T20 team.

Had to have Rimmington for his QLDness basically
Wouldn't have a problem with Harris/Hauritz over him though, as both add more with the bat and in the field.
Hopes should be nowhere near even the 3rd choice Aust T20 team afaic.

I'd have Hodge for Clarke, but won't happen. Think they'd prefer Hopes too but I think his bowling is too pedestrian for T20. I'd also consider Dussey at 7, his bowling is under rated IMO. I also really, really like Rimmington's bowling but I'm not convinced they'll pick him.
