Can't pretend we deserved any more than that. We had almost constant possession in the latter stages of that match and yet at no point did I honestly feel that we were about to score. Fair play City - I'm clinging to our away goal as hope that we can turn this around. Our away goal, plus the return of of Ferdinand and Vidic, obviously.

On another note, that Tevez looks a decent player - I wonder if we could sign him in some way...?

Only half time.

Can we bring on 2 sub defenders for the 2nd half, watching that gift of a goal again its a shocker. Both Brown and Evans at fault, almost puching each other to get the ball. One of you at least ****ing defend our area

Wesley doing his best to make sure The Neviller isn't United's most dire defender this season, sadly...

The penalty was pretty iffy, but it was right to be given because it livened the whole of the game up afterwards.

Spoken purely as a neutral naturally.

.
.was followed by what initially was a restrained reaction as the Argentina star raced past the United fans behind the same goal.

That soon changed, though, as Tevez encountered Gary Neville warming up by the touchline.

A childish exchange, which seemed to involve the United captain making a one-fingered gesture at Tev...ez, ended with the South American using a hand signal of his own to indicate Neville should shut his mouth.
