Yeah, Spurs always get spoofed into buying world football's "new big star" who actually isn't any good.
Yeah, what happened to Giovanni dos Santos? TT Boy called it when Tottenham signed him, if he was any good, why would Barca sell him to Spurs?

Well done to Hull for holding Spurs to a draw. Means they'll probably be a bit more attacking in their next game, sucks to be whoever they're playing... oh wait. :(

Also, EVERTON! Loved Pienaar's goal, and it didn't matter that I fell asleep at half-time. :)

Well well Ikki, your boys got bailed out last night so I guess things are looking up for you.

On the Everton-City game I gotta say when they play well they are pretty awesome to watch. Had a sticky start to the season but after the past few seasons of challenging the top 4 it had to happen sometime.

Can't wait till they get Arteta and Yobo back though, pretty sick little team when it happens. Donovan looks very industrious on the right hand side, Pienaar post injuries looks classy and Fellaini is a complete destroyer in midfield. Completely outplayed two very good teams in a row now and should climb steadily up the table now they have their confidence back up. Another centre back might do them well, only 4 clean sheets all season is pretty disappointing, I reckon Phil could do a very solid job for them.

I called it on my Fifa '06 game, tbf.

He could be really quite good IMO. If Spurs loan him out to a lower table premiership side, then they could see him come back with improved confidence, fitness and generally more skill.

Green, a very lucky boy. Great shot-stopper but makes too many of those mistakes for me. Hope we don't see him in an England shirt this summer.

Gawd I hate watching Villa.:sleep1:

Think our options are so limited he has to be in the squad at least and, as Fab seems to like his players to be having a regular game, unless James returns soon he could well be starting. Hopefully Fab'll run his eye over Joey Hart in one of the pre-tourny friendlies tho because he looks the obvious form English keeper just now, damning with faint praise as that may be.

Well great save in the last minute to get the Irons a point, think they'll be safe, Burnley and Wolves seem to be sinking fast, and with Pompey, they're the three IMHO.

Hart must play for England, can't see around it, Green will be Robinson all over again.

Eastmond playing for the Arse, interesting.

Still can't believe he started 2 fullbacks in the midfield in a must-win game. Especially when Aquilani & Rodriguez are sitting on the bench.
Genius, everybody is/was injured. He had practically no choice.

Anyway, only 4 from the top 4 despite all this crap that's befallen us this year. If our squad wasn't regularly without half our starting XI I'd be much more happy.

Can definitely see the 'pool snatching 4th spot with the other contenders falling over themselves to drop points

All they need is a decent run of form and they'll be up there

Yeah, distinct possibility. Seems to happen every year with whichever of Liverpool or Arsenal is having a bad season.

This is a particularly bad Liverpool side though, so you never know.

Torres and Gerrard are your whole team mate, not just half.

Lee Camp to be worth considering by 2012, perhaps?

Decent 3 points there, crucial parts of the match being Cesc being incredibly good once again and the fact that Matt Taylor was absolute arse in front of goal.
