Really no idea but can I guess Bradman?
You can of course. But its not him.:)

Its difficult to just hit upon a name like that hence the format of this trivia quiz game. You have to ask questions that can be answered with a Yes or a No and keep narrowing the field.

Like, is he an Australian? Is he a Test player? and so forth.

May I rudely steal the baton here, with another CB Fry related question?

What two unusual feats did CB Fry achieve against Middlesex in 1898?

(Oh and no cheating).

YES,. I was very surprised when I first came across this information in Fingleton's book on Trumper. She hardly seemed the type to use 'poetic' language :)
Coincidentally I was reading about Mrs F for the first time last night (in CB Fry: King of Sport - a pretty good book about an extraordinary subject).

Seems she was quite a character.

Does the answer involve the home and away fixtures combined?

(I'm assuming a visit to cricketarchive and/or opening an 1899 Wisden constitutes cheating?)

Yes. One feat was home, the other away. Separated by a couple of weeks.

(And yes referring to those sources is very definitely cheating)
