Even on cricinfo Steyn's spell had me a bit scaredHow ****ing amazing was Steyn's spel!!!!
And how awesome is Collingwood in these situations!!!
Awesome cricket.
Monty and Jimmy IMO.And there aren't many batsmen you'd have in your team ahead of Colly in this situation are there?
Rubbish, more like this:Someone emailed into cricinfo and said the only reason he's still in is because he isn't good enoguh to get an edge on Steyn's deliveries, bah
Guardian OBO said:"I understand there are rumours that Paul Collingwood is made from melted down aircraft carriers and eats sawdust as a tasty snack. Experts tell me that after a nuclear holocaust the only things survive will be rats, ****roaches and Paul Collingwood."
Pretty much spot on. Being a limited player can have its advantages. Apart from all that it's not exactly the sort of pitch teams get bowled out on. It's playing beautifully, just as it did when SA batted.Someone emailed into cricinfo and said the only reason he's still in is because he isn't good enoguh to get an edge on Steyn's deliveries, bah
What a borefest. Draws are boring.
Well I think they'll definitely win this.England fans I am not trying to jinx your team
About the respective bowling attacks?AD was right.
SA attack looks sharper and more disciplined without Ntini but lacks the penetration to bowl out teams twice. Looks like they will struggle to win a match this series. Time for them to unearth some new bowlers with more fire and penetration. Morkel regressed today after being pretty good all series.AD was right.
Lol, by get on England I meant put money on the draw.Well I think they'll definitely win this.
Without losing another wicket.
And Bell flies off on a rocket when stumps are called.
It's been a funny series. Two tests have produced stalemates while England was far too good for SA in Durban. It's certainly been a lean summer for the home team though with below par performances in all forms of the game at times and England look like going home with the spoils despite only being marginally better and playing on foreign soil. What a borefest. Would hardly call the first test a stalemate, went down right to the last ball! This test is not over yet either, a couple of quick wickets and everything changes. It's been a funny series. It might ultimately cost Smith his job coming on the back of the home loss against Australia. Questions will be possibly asked about his tactics and declarations, though in fairness, his attack is not good enough to take twenty wickets and the pitches here have been tailormade for draws to some extent. Had SA been capable of batting better in Durban that was destined for one too.Lol, by get on England I meant put money on the draw.
A draw is as good as a win here for England anyway. Will be embarrassing for SA really.
