I think KP is still struggling with that injury he had during the Ashes, his feet movement have looked very slow on this tour...

I suppose there's a reason why no-one's ever chased down 466. Shame, but the damage was done 2 days ago. Not much you can do about Kallis & Smith batting like gods, but we were 150 under par in the 1st innings and it was always likely to cost us the game.

This is certainly not all his fault, but what the hell was Cook thinking with that shot? He's not even a big T20 man.

Pulling bowlers off a length? It's by faaaaar his best shot. 99 times out of 100 that goes for four. It's not a percentage shot for most batsmen but for Cook it's the percentage shot.

Looks ugly when he does get out to it though.

Pulling upward, apparently looking for elevation.

Yeah, they go to midwicket for four nearly every time. It's a seriously strong shot. If there's one reason why Alastair Cook averages 43 despite having played his entire career with a few glaring and obvious technical weaknesses, it's that exact shot.

Nah, Cook played pull shots to similar deliveries hitting down or across the ball. When you hit upward you're looking to clear the rope. Terrible shot when you're trying to save a Test/chase a large total.

This. Don't give a **** whether he scores 98% of his runs in that area, totally unnecessary to play it in this situation. I personally would drop him for his two dismissals in this match, been a disgrace, the both of 'em. Looked great before which is what makes it all the more galling.
