Very very hollow feeling for me

Played like absolute **** for the most part and were saved by opposition mistakes

You can say that dropped catches are part of the game but this took the notion of "catches win matches" to an almost ridiculous extreme
Well said .....from a totally neutral POV, Pakistan snatched defeat from the jaws of victory rather than anything spectacular from Australia. Can totally understand that hollow feeling.

This is sort of like escaping defeat from Bangladesh so I wouldn't say this has been a really good day for AUS.
Haha, wat? It's been a brilliant day for Aus. Didn't do much wrong at all. The past three days however....

If you had ever played cricket for Pakistan, you would want to back Kamran Akmal at this point and support him. People arent so nice back home, and its not like anyone drops catches on purpose. Hes a good bloke.

Oh I agree, **** play by Australia for the most part. But I live for the excitement of these moments. If Australia had played well for the most part, then it would have been another token beating and something that doesn't truly excite. The ineptness of both teams has created one of the more extraordinary final days of cricket of all time, and I don't mind that.

Pakistan systematically threw that away. Kamran probably the least popular person in Pakistan right now.
What is the probability of a fatwa being issued on Kamran Akmal?

He'd have to become a fugitive here ala Salman Rushdie.

Pakistan has nobody to blame but their own complete utter incompetence. Their top order is worse than Bangaldesh's. I am glad Pakistan didn't pull it off because it would be a farce with such a batting lineup for test cricket. Select some batsmen and not mediocre guys who are in there just because of ugliest nepotism. Chuck out Faisal Iqbal, Misbah Ul Haq, Kamran Akmal and Imran Farhat and bring in Fawad Alam, Younis Khan (somehow), Sarfraz Ahmed, and Imran Nazir (he atleast plays shots). Sami looked the one innings fluke and is well back to the 50s average where he belongs. This Pakistani team is perhaps the worst I have seen touring Australia.
Can't help feel there's something kind of personal in this very venomous post ...but that's just me

My mate Max is a good bloke too, but that doesn't mean he should be playing Test cricket.

Wow unbelievable.Pakistan dominated for 3 days with 200 runs lead and Aus won it with one session of good play. This is absolutely a psychological factor for Pakistan,i guess.

Anyway congrats for Aus team.
