Swann and Broad both got decent averages this year. I'm not holding much by who has taken most wickets because us and Australia have played so much more than everyone else, but a look down the list tells me that not many seamers have had better years than Broad.

Steyn somehow keeps his average way down as well. There's no stopping that dude. I remember last year in Ausland every time it would start to shoot up he'd take quick wickets.

Aaaanyway great to see England stepping it up, hopefully the next Ashes series downunder will be as close as 05 and 08/09
