Does anyone call Bell "Sherm" except Shane Warne?

Pity Broad went down swinging so early. He was about to start something magical there :(

I'm an absolute sucker for Ian Bell. Was a massive fan a while back, laregly because he looked so good but he did make runs as well. I think like the majority of people on hear, I just got fed up of how predictable he is and his apparent lackof any grit and determination, which is really apparent when he plays alongside someone like Collingwood. I just really hope this knock isn't another false dawn and that he can get some serious runs in situations he hasn't done before.
Don't get me wrong, this knock has been important but it's what he's known for. Would've been much more impressed by/hopefull for Ian Bell had he done this when we were 100/4. Just hope he can do that next time he's given the chance to.

Despite wanting us to thrash it about if this is to be the last we see of Ntini it is a shame to see him being flogged about like a club bowler.

I'd declare on the next wicket. If England end up needing another quick 100 they'd be better off getting them in the 4th innings than Anderson/Onions trying to get them.

Yeah, agree, and that might (in theory) give us a bit more control over bad light if it comes to it late on tomorrow

Watching Ntini gives me memories of Gillespie over here in 2005, a sad sight :(
Oh wow that triggers some megasad memories :(

Sort of like the way the Australian team of old used to take its toll on opposition captains, this England side takes its scalps in the form of bowlers
