Haha, MoYo nearly dudded the Aussies there. Nice work but nicer from Siddle. Well deserved wicket after a couple of decent overs.

Pretty slow day at the cricket, highlight was the streaker and Yousuf's 6. Was very disappointed in Ponting declaring, things were just getting fun after a day's grind.

Re: Asif's comments - 1) obviously he hasn't watched a lot of cricket at the MCG and 2) Aussie bowlers had NO problems bouncing Pakistan, one delivery that hit early on was a pearler.

They could potentially bowl Pakistan out for 250, have a rest, and, at worst, set 350 in the 4th innings

The umpires are very selective about when to use Hotspot, now, aren't they? Apparently, they can use it to determine whether contact was made, but don't trust it to determine if no contact was made....

You can't have your cake and eat it too. You either trust Hotspot implicitly, or don't use it at all. When the umpires are inconsistent in their use of Hotspot, you can understand why WI fans feel cheated over the dismissal of Roach in that final Perth innings.

Na thats bull, if hotspot shows a bright spot it means the ball almost certainly hit the object, if it shows nothing at all but the ball was very close to it then it doesn't confirm that there was zero contact at all, it alludes to it though but there is still a possibility of the ball taking the edge so finely it doesn't register and machine error.

No problem with using it at all when it clearly brings a result ala this instance.

You have conveniently ignored the part where it was clear based on the replay it brushed Yousaf's gloves, nevermind any Hot Spot involement.

Did the umpire use hot spot, it was clear from replays that his glove was knocked off the bat handle by the ball. Hot spot didnt even come into it but I get the gist of your rant, You couldent understand how Roach was given out after the umpire heard a noise as the ball passed the bat which was confirmed by stump mike. I can see why the WI fans feel cheated when they dont know how it all works.
