*Official* West Indies In Australia

Dark Hunter

State Vice-Captain
Clarke gone. Tough little period here for Australia. The windies could knock em over for another 100 runs or so, and set up a fairly good chase. Especially nervy for Australia if Ponting can't bat/is extremely hindered.

Haddin and Broad - plainly a world government conspiracy.

How many players have been banned at all over the years?

Just come out and say he's racist mate, don't hide in the coward's castle.

Why the **** Benn didn't plead guilty is beyond me. If he'd done so, bet he'd have got a fine too.

I dislike sledging to begin with. The players seem to make their peace with it and think it is part of the game. Stephen Fleming in his book felt that sledging doesn't bother the best batsman and that as long as it doesn't get 'personal' he can live with it.
If I had my way there would be no sledging.
Dislike Brad Haddin due to his constant sledging as well.

Larry Gomes played a couple of games for our club side once - and we were complaining about sledging in our league and he had no problem with it either. He said that he used to have to put up with Rod Marsh and the chappell brothers at first and second slip.

Larry Gomes? How good is that? Top stuff.

Could he sing like Lionel Richie too?

BTW, I'm not denying Haddin's a prat ftr :)

Edit: North gone. This test is shaping up nicely. Bravo bowls the dry line well.

If Mitch want's to be anything close to being regarded as an all rounder he'll contribute a neat little 35 or 40 here and make sure we get to a stage where we wont lose.

Is the pitch bad or is it just plain bad batting?

And has a side ever lost when they didn't enforce the follow-on?
