Having just watched the incident, I reckon it's a bit stiff for Johnson to be fined. He had Benn basically walk over him to get to Haddin and just pushed him out of the way. But yeah, Benn comes off looking the worst IMO, I reckon had he let it go at the end of the over instead of approaching Haddin, Haddin probably would've copped it the most. I'd say Benn deserves the harshest punishment, then Haddin, then Johnson.

Benn took it too far but if anyone had the license to say something to Benn after that altercation then that was Mitchel not Haddin..............

Benn would have ate Haddin alive without burping! I don't think Aussies understand but these dudes aint a joke, they are from the Caribeen.......big difference....

I'd say the missing link is Benn carrying on a bit in the 2nd Test - following Watson around trying to get him to react etc etc. I'd assume some of the Australian cricketers got annoyed and that flowed over into yesterday's incident. Haddin may have been one of them and at the first hint of anything yesterday he over-reacted. I don't think Johnson and Benn running into each other was deliberate on either person's part.

Am surprised to hear Benn has been suspended (!?), that seems a little harsh.

Some guys are just better at taking wickets no matter how much poo they send down. Midge seems to be one of those guys. It's so easy to be jealous of them (I know I've played with a few and hated them for it) but I prefer to take the high road.

That is unless, of course, he was playing for South Africa. Then he'd be a lucky pie-throwing ****er who probably chucks his effort ball.
