Replace Johnson with ****ley IMO.Attack of McKay, Johnson and Bolly would be my all-time favourite.
There will never be a more Australian sounding attack than Burt, Clint and Doug.

ThisSmith should not be anywhere near the test side, but I doubt they'd play him over Geeves. Poor Krejza he's has a okay shield so far.
My memories are sweeter - I followed WI cricket when Lloyd and Richards ruled the roost....I was born in 1987 and my earliest memory of following cricket is of primary school, when classes were stopped to follow the tail-end of Lara's 375 on the radio.
My first memory of watching/being interested in cricket is of the 1998/99 5-0 & 6-1 thrashing in South Africa. I watched every match, then carried my interest into the most affective cricket series I've experienced - Australia in West Indies. And I was hooked.
But perhaps my most enduring experience of West Indies cricket is reading Michael Manley's "A History Of West Indies Cricket." Definitely the most comprehensive piece of literature I've read cover to cover twice.
Aus will walk the Test if those two are out. Really hope they're not.My memories are sweeter - I followed WI cricket when Lloyd and Richards ruled the roost....
But I agree with you about Michael Manley's work - I've enjoyed it, and I have both the first edition and the last edition on my bookshelf....
I hear Chanderpaul and Barath are struggling with finger and hammy injuries, and both may miss the Perth test....
It's like India '08 revisited. Watch them play him over Dougeh
Great minds think alike etc.Australia clearly not learning from picking Cam White in India. Ridiculous to pick Smith for the Test squad over Krezja. Will be good to see how McKay goes though.
Yeah I'm all over it. I'd say it was easy money, but every time I bet against the West Indies and then brag about how favourable the odds were they spring an upset, so I'm not going to do that.Australia at 1.41. Value considering no Chanders?
Seriously. Smith is the worst call in a long time. Even if it is just drinks cover. Has batted well recently, but his bowling has been anything but good. Reckon Simpson would have been a better call. Actually took wickets on a batting deck (on the first day) and probably restricted N.S.W. to under 600. Which in the end probably won us the game. Add to that he's probably the best fieldsman in Australia not currently in the Aussie team.Yeah, the only possible reason is for Smith to get involved in the squad for a bit. They must be super confident that Hauritz will be right, and even if he weren't, they'd probably go for four quicks and the use of North. Which is pretty much what WA generally does.
Deonarine is a good player who has the ability to do a job. My bigger concern is Dowlin coming in, who I really have little faith in with the bat.I hear Chanderpaul and Barath are struggling with finger and hammy injuries, and both may miss the Perth test....
Victorian - one test is enough to decide he's not test quality.Bring back Bryce.
awtavictorian - he's not test quality.
I guess it is only up from the worst bowling performance on debut in about 130 years...Victorian - one test is enough to decide he's not test quality.
