I reckon we are better off with McKay atm. Siddle is down on pace and down on wickets plus no point risking further injury. I am confident McKay can get the job done in his place.

Feel that's a bit harsh on Siddle, but likewise, very confident that McKay would perform.

I love the way the Aussies are just sitting, looking uncomfortable.
Yeah the team has been a joyless lot for quite some time. Hauritz strikes me as the most friendly and open of them but geez, some semblance of personality or expression outside of a ton or 5-fer would be nice.

Looked like Sids was having a bit of a laugh about things there.

Australian sport is churning out robots like no one's business these days. If blokes get seen having a beer and dancing with a bird theyr'e afraid it'll impact on their contract or something.

No such worries in the legal profession, thank God.

Dougeh.

I just feel Siddle could use a break to sort his injury out. Ever since the Ashes he has been conceding a fair few runs which isn't what I expect from Siddle. He has shown he can have very good control at times. And his pace isn't quite where it should be, he has shown he can bowl 150km/h consistently during the Boxing day test.

Just found out Steve has been called over to Perth on standby. We'll all be cheering him on if he does play.

Think Smith is just there to get some experience. Geeves will play if Hauritz is injured. Although wouldn't mind getting a good look at Smith.
