No one take this the wrong way, but Umar Akmal reminds me of Vincent and McMillan because even if they're dominating they play risky cricket at times so you feel you always have a chance.

Yea. I reckon he'll never become this "great" batsmen some people are making out he'll be. Tbh I haven't really been that impressed with how he's gone about some of his innings, he's had a crap load of luck in most of them.

The kid is 19! I think it's safe to assume that he'll tighten up his game with some more maturity. For a 19-year-old he's a helluva find.

Yeah he definitely won't improve at all in the next potential 15 years of his career. He'll just stay at this talent level.

What? A crap load of luck? Never become a great batman? I disagree, complete bs for mine.

What was he dropped on again when he made 120 odd, six wasn't it? How many times did he play and miss when he made that 46 in the first innings in Wellington? He's played one solid knock in New Zealand, everything else has involved a fair amount of luck.

As for never becoming a great batsmen, well that's my opinion. I've seen it happen to a heck of a lot of Pakistan batsmen in the past where they've started of really well at a young age and just fell away.
