**Official** Pakistan in New Zealand (3 tests)

At least Tim Southee's playing, for some odd reason I enjoy watching him bat (as long as he's having a swing though).

Tim McIntosh needs to start looking to score runs though, instead of trying not to get out.
I think Richardson's comment was key. He is defending balls on middle stump back down the pitch instead of working them through midwicket for two. Perhaps he can add that to his game.

Ugly heave by Ross.

But he did wait until he had his eye in. Unfortunately it didn't come off.

I thought he should've gone down the ground with that ball. It was too full to go through midwicket.

Edit: Not looking forward to Flynn and mcintosh together. Slow stuff ahead.

Maybe because he plays for ND? 8-)

Nah, **** off.
He can score as slowly as he wants. This is a ****ing test match.
As long as Taylor get set, the runs will come from his end. And if we end up with a solid platform (Thanks to the likes of McIntosh grinding it out at one end), then we should be able to score at a fair clip near the end of the innings with the likes of Vettori and McCullum.

Argh!!
No. I'd much rather see him pick of half volley's and at least get singles of them, he blocks far to much **** that he should put away.

There has been a subtle change in mcintosh's scoring rate in the last 15 minutes. He is upping the tempo slightly.

Even though he has been slow he has more than 50% of the runs.

Great stuff Timmy McIntosh, your've just proved all the haters wrong. You want see a better 74 then that folkes.

Can't wait to New Zealand's second innings.

Ok, so if you give that one, how can you not give the Akmal one in the Pakistan innings?

Both showed nothing on hotspot.....

McCullum very lucky to get away with that.

And Flynn really did spectacularly shoot himself in the foot with his little Gilchrist moment.
