what a sorry piece of batting by Pakistan.....needless absolutely needless shots......you don't bat like that in test cricket.......

but again O'Brien is on song........what a bowler this guy is......don't know why he is leaving.....

Need a big innings from these 2 Farhat and Kamran...but doubt they will hang around for a bit.....

Who was the numpty presentation director at Sky who decided to roll in that Sky Sports menu board as Tuffey was running in to bowl? And why the hell didn't they crash out of it?

Yousuf to come out after the game and say they were just throwing away their wickets to spite him?
Yes Yousuf including............

I am not watching the game, just reading commentary.....is the pitch that quick for bowlers??? or Pak batting is just horrible to the fullest...

The first and last wicket of the day falls...
Good call mate. :p

Thats a sensational session for New Zealand, led by O'Brien - does he really have to retire? Bowling in the mid-140s is a highly impressive effort. Could've taken a fifth too, with Kamran and Imran Farhat playing so ridiculously freely. Nice start from Southee too earlier in the session and he deserved his wicket of Salman.

I think the Sky commentators raised a fair point that this Napier pitch, with more bounce and carry than those used for the first and second tests in Dunedin and Wellington, will somewhat replicate the pitch conditions they should expect for their upcoming Australian tour, so to see how woeful their batsmen played this morning is a major concern.
