I'll give Ponting a very limited bit of grace at the moment - as the captain trying to work out how to implement a new system, he could reasonably be asking "what did the third umpire say was the issue with that"
Yeah when he approached the umpire he was probably saying something like that. The close-ups of his reaction when the decisions came through were a bit uglier TBH.

I was amazed that he went upstairs for the leg-side catch. He couldn't possibly know what that hit from his vantage point at 2nd slip. Haddin didn't even really claim the catch at all. Really weird.

Does the weather report for tomorrow factor in possible showers?
Forecast for Tuesday MAX 21
Early rain periods, easing to a shower or two and clearing during the morning. A
fine and mostly sunny afternoon. Mild with moderate to fresh southerly winds.

Its been raining a bit now 2AM hopefully it all splurts out by 10:30, shouldn't effect too much.

Draw or WI win. Don't think we'll get near the total - day 3 was about 280 scored, yesterday, even with Gayle at the crease 260 scored.

If WI win, Roach to take 5 plus wickets.

Ok, I've changed my mind on Bollinger. Looks like an extremely capable bowler and is probably at least 2 notches above Mitchell Johnson. Bit surprised that his domestic record is nothing flash.

Good luck to the WI tomorrow. I think they should declare overnight, take the risk and play aggressively tomorrow. Would be a very special moment if they are able to win although I don't think they have the bowling attack to do so. Will also be interesting to see which Australia turns up, whether they will play with their new more defensive approach or whether they play in the aggressive and carefree manner that was their hallmark during their glory years.

His record is not a reflection of his dominance in domestic cricket over the past four seasons.

He had a terrible record early on in his career, I think it was something like 26 wickets from 18 games at an average of near 60. Turned things around in the Shield in 2006/2007.

Looking for some cult status here - want him to do well as I used to play vs him. But I still think he's a bit of a knob.
