Windies without Taylor and Edwards, at Adelaide oval, first innings.

I only saw the Adelaide broadcast, so the last session, but the closest they seemed to get to a wicket was through Benn, no way they'll get 10 wickets.

With all the complaints about using hot spot for the referals, because it doesn't see the spots on the back of the blade or when the bat face is held at the wrong angle, why the hell can't they use the camera from the other end? Surely they have one set up at each end they could look at? How have they not even looked at it? /rant

It was a superb innings, one of the best ever 96's you'll ever. Can't believe you missed it.

Haha, didn't want to post anything like that as I feel for him, but it was bloody good in an attacking sense, so many nice shots played. Looked shaky first ball but after that have never seen the bloke more confident.

Hmmm, dispute this a bit. Thought it was a matter of time before Bravo got through him, just couldn't quite manage it. Looked less than comfortable against Benn too, couple of great late cuts aside. Reckon the WI were beaten by the pitch. Adelaide, she's a heart-breaker.

Looked fine against Benn, one cut for four was particularly pleasing on the eye, have been fast forwarding through a few of the maiden overs and dot balls though.

Definitely had a few moments towards the end where he was a bit uncertain. Benn was getting in on it by getting in his ear the whole time as well.

Ive seldom seen a more presumptuous opening sentance than the one from this article. Im not saying it will not happen but there is an element of chickens being counted, especially given the oposition scored 451 and Australia are still over 270 behind.

Statement was rubbished but based around Nielsen's comment

It seems weird that subcontinental pitches cop so much flak when Australian pitches are just as flat, if not worse.
Seems weirder that you haven't read any of the 13,000 comments on these boards bemoaning the state of Australian pitches in recent years.

Was under the impression he wasn't sure. I didn't think he claimed it.
Well everyone thought they were just going to continue on, but he must have said he thinks he may have got it.

Either way, the time the umpires take to waddle towards each other and then have a yarn is ridiculous.
