Just noticed the times for the El Classico derby on Monday morning our time (4am QLD time, which should be at 7pm British time?).

Ferguson: Brown is the Best

In other news, Bargain Booze with 2 for 1 offer on bottles of Bell's......

I expect managers to talk up their players, but "the best natural defender in the country"? He might as well have said Rooney's a brain surgeon in his spare time. I'd have gone for something a bit more believeable myself. Maybe "Brown's all right, I suppose & we hope he doesn't **** up more than twice a game til Rio's fit".

In a way this isn't that bad imo. Well, obviously it is bad, because he is our main goal threat. However, this will pretty much force Wenger into buying a new striker or two in January, which with Van Persie only out for 3 months he may have tried sneak past without doing. Though I would rather have a fit Van Persie, I think the prospect of a new player coming in is better than that of trying to get by with what is currently available until Van Persie can return.

"His greatest strength is that he looks like the tango man."

"Van Persie, 26, who suffered the injury while playing for the Netherlands on 14 November, was initially expected to be out for about six weeks."

QED.

Because Aresnal's physiotherapy department are responsible for the initial scans by a Dutch hospital?

Haha, whether there's any truth in it or not, do you not find it a bit comical that this happens EVERY TIME an Arsenal player gets injured?

I find it quite funny that something like this happens the day after our discussion yesterday :p
But to say it happens every time for Arsenal players is a little overstated. It happens for players at every club, off the top of my head I can't really remember all that many examples of it (though you'll probably rattle of 5 in response to this). The only major one I can remember is Rosicky but that was one of the most complicated injuries ever, what seemed at first like your run of the mill hamstring injury transformed into a ridiculous amount of time on the sidelines.
RVP's injuries seem to go for longer and longer but that's probably due to the fact that he seems to pick up so many pretty regularly

To be specific about our Physios, it's all gone down hill since England poached Gary Lewin :p

It happens pretty much every time. Three weeks generally means about three months in Arsenal's physio-speak. It's not my personal theory, it's something F365 have been harping on about for about three years. Now that I've mentioned it, you'll gradually start to notice how often it happens before eventually concluding that it's true :p.

Lol at the fron page story here:http://www.football365.com/.

Fergie's said that abotu Brown in the past TBH.

Anyway, phantom penalty there and a blatant handball missed. Rubbish.
