Haha it was a good catch, but I'm actually curious who Mick is? Do they ask a fan in the crowd every day or something?

Getting my first look at Roach. WI are onto something with him, I reckon. Reminiscent of Malcolm Marshall, especially the way the ball leaves his hand.

Been pretty lucky today. Been able to watch Umar Akmal today play a special knock with his brother when his team was in the ropes, when it looked likely his team would be forced to follow-on. And now Roach looks something special as well. Despite all their problems, the WI are still able to produce some talented cricketers. Shame they can't get their act together in all the other areas.

Whilst I would say Australia are still in front with North and Haddin still at the crease, the West Indies have done a lot better then when I thought. When Ponting won the toss, I thought they would be chasing leather all day as Ponting scored another century with Katich. However, no Aussie batsman as a century yet, and the West Indies have to take heart that, if they can get an early wicket or two, they can get Australia out for less then 400. I guess they just have to be positive and have confidence. But yeah, Australia still in front for mine.

Day 2, session 1 you feel will shape the rest of this test match.

Good cricket all-round today. Australian batsmen dissapointing in not converting more starts, but credit to Bravo, Taylor, Roach and Benn who kept the pressure up (Rampaul was woeful, prefer to ignore his performance). Great to have Test cricket back in Australia.

Does every first day of a series in Aus end with a team 5 wickets down? Disappointing no-one went on with it and Watto :(

Is channel 9 doing a highlights pack each night? (seems a forlorn hope, but worth asking?)
