seems to be working..... Sreesanth gets another wicket.Nice commentary from Ravi Shastri. Harbhajan pats Sreesanth on the head and hugs him. Ravi says "He is used to the hand, but this time in an affectionate manner".
classic...we know what they dont know
Oh no ****y man!we know what they dont know
SL 131/4... where are the flat pitch whiners?
some of them must be quite used to it, Jono.. Most, if not all of the India whiners here were the usual suspects..**** some people look stupid right now.
indeed.**** some people look stupid right now.
Well Mahela Jayawardene was also given a life first ball he faced. And just now, another one.Disounting the fact that he was dropped on zero of course
I presume that if that sitter been taken, the debate would've been settled in the other's favour
why bother bringing up facts against stupid whinging?Well Mahela Jayawardene was also given a life first ball he faced. And just now, another one.
I agree with you R_D. I think many people just read the scorecard and decided, "Well, top 3 hundreds! RR of 4.5! Murali going at 5 per over!" and jumped to concluding that it is a flat bed. The truth is that Sri Lanka missed a trick by going in with 3 finger spinners and just one fast bowler. Chanaka Welegedara bowled superbly in the first test first morning but it is asking too much of him to be the only genuine pace bowler in the side. I think perhaps SL underestimated Indian batsmen and forgot that they are master players to realise from their earlier mistakes and adapt quickly. The third spinner Mendis was reduced to play bowling out the overs and it did not help Murali had an offday.
It was a flat pitch but probably not as flat as the last one obviously..... Batting was good and 3 spinners bowling on the opening day made it seem worse.
