Wouldn't take him long if he's bowling doosra's like that to get back into the Australian team. Guessing the rough helped though.Do you reckon it's a doosra, or a straight one that's hit the edge of the rough? Seems to have turned a hell of a long way to be the latter, but I'm not sure.
Edit: just read in the SMH that he's been practising it all winter and has just unveiled it. Kudos.
Agreed. Turned a long, long way for a ball like that. That said, just getting it to straighten makes it useful, especially if he can disguise it as well as that footage would suggest.Wouldn't take him long if he's bowling doosra's like that to get back into the Australian team. Well, from what I saw of him against SA, seems to have worked on quite a few things. Had Klinger, no mug against spin, probing and nearly popping a couple of catches before ripping a straight one through the gate.I know he got some tap in that T20 game the other night, but from what I've seen his summer, Krezja looks like he has seriously worked hard on his accuracy.
Would be a great story if he got back into the international scene and made a go of it.
Krejza's mystery ball Today's News - The Mercury - The Voice of Tasmania"It is not a doosra, it is as simple as that," State coach Tim Coyle said yesterday.
"Jason Krejza has a special delivery that can't be compared with a bent elbow doosra. People need to go and have a look at what he bowls.
"He bowls this ball that goes the other way, exactly the same way as his off-break so to me it is not a doosra.
"We will call it something else, we've just got to come up with a name.
"It was an outstanding delivery and made everyone sit up and look. It is perfectly legal and will not affect his off-breaks."
Although i prefer AUS to play 4 quicks all the time. If a spinner is to be picked, even ATS i would always go for Krejza over Hauritz in tests.I know he got some tap in that T20 game the other night, but from what I've seen his summer, Krezja looks like he has seriously worked hard on his accuracy.

Cowan doubled up didn't he?Love my call to pick Ed Cowan as leading runscorer, even if he doesn't get the most, a 79* is good going.
Can't see anything but a draw from this match, both teams will struggle to take 20 wickets, unless say Krejza goes berserk.
