Do you reckon it's a doosra, or a straight one that's hit the edge of the rough? Seems to have turned a hell of a long way to be the latter, but I'm not sure.

Edit: just read in the SMH that he's been practising it all winter and has just unveiled it. Kudos.

Wouldn't take him long if he's bowling doosra's like that to get back into the Australian team. Guessing the rough helped though.

Agreed. Turned a long, long way for a ball like that. That said, just getting it to straighten makes it useful, especially if he can disguise it as well as that footage would suggest.

EDIT: Love that Fox news has gone to Haurie saying "So, have youuuuuu got a doosra now?"

I know he got some tap in that T20 game the other night, but from what I've seen his summer, Krezja looks like he has seriously worked hard on his accuracy.

Would be a great story if he got back into the international scene and made a go of it.

Well, from what I saw of him against SA, seems to have worked on quite a few things. Had Klinger, no mug against spin, probing and nearly popping a couple of catches before ripping a straight one through the gate.

"It is not a doosra, it is as simple as that," State coach Tim Coyle said yesterday.

"Jason Krejza has a special delivery that can't be compared with a bent elbow doosra. People need to go and have a look at what he bowls.

"He bowls this ball that goes the other way, exactly the same way as his off-break so to me it is not a doosra.

"We will call it something else, we've just got to come up with a name.

"It was an outstanding delivery and made everyone sit up and look. It is perfectly legal and will not affect his off-breaks."

Love my call to pick Ed Cowan as leading runscorer, even if he doesn't get the most, a 79* is good going.

Can't see anything but a draw from this match, both teams will struggle to take 20 wickets, unless say Krejza goes berserk.

Cowan passes the 100, nice to see him making runs now after a slow start. George has been the pick of the bowlers for SA.

Although i prefer AUS to play 4 quicks all the time. If a spinner is to be picked, even ATS i would always go for Krejza over Hauritz in tests.

Cowan doubled up didn't he?

Good to see Duval and Cosgrove back, shame Cleary is still injured it won't be the same bowling attack without him.

Tas are 6/348, hopefully we can bowl them out for under 420 ish. Bowling letting SA down abit, what an innings from Cowan though, happy for him..good stlyish player, always been a fan. Good move from him to go to tassie, was always good enough for first class cricket.

George with 5/60. His first 5 fer :)

Tassie to attempt to recruit Pete George next season for his awesome record at Bellerive alone.
