Babel to score.Pretty **** having sky switched off, plus I thought Babel 10/1 best scorer was a good bit of value Still at least star wars was on the telly so the day wasn't all bad.
Wow thought you were having a laugh when I read this the first time. Wigan really are Jekkyl/Hyde this year.Totenham beat Wigan 9-1!!!! Not even any sendings off, Defoe scores 5, if only I had him in my fantasy side.
Haha, hmm. Not such a reputation for theatrics as Eboue. Can see where you're coming from though. My fave was when he said Utd-Arsenal was men against boys and then wondered why the boys kicked the **** out of him the next time they played. Loon, so easy hateable if he plays for the opposition but I can see why you'd love him. He's like a nastier, better footballer version of Eboue.
Owen's movement has been a class above all season. From what I saw from Everton, Owen's almost getting back into his game, his movement is a joy to behold, still looking a bit rusty though.
If
A) He stays fit
B) He gets used to united's play, and more importantly if Utd players get used to Owen's off the ball ability
C) He hits top form
he should make the plane IMO. On his day he can be devestating, when he's got his eye in he's the perfect impact sub.
Most of his shots have been on target TBH.He's actually a pretty poor finisher though.
It also helps if you play regularly. And everyone knows that a great striker is one who scores plenty of shots-on-target.
I know it was only in the leagu cup but his goal against Barnsley was just wonderfull to watch, reminded me of the difference between a good striker who will get himself a lot of goals, say Darren Bent and the highest class, Fernando Torres. There are still elements of that sort striker in Owen and I really hope he makes it to South Afirca.Owen's movement has been a class above all season.
He's actually a pretty poor finisher though.
