GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Just realised that the filth are in the relegation zone, cheers me up a little on the weekend that we fell to the bottom of the league

I am trying to avoid study but have not even tried to justify watching Stoke v Porthsmouth as way of procrastination.

Cricketer Of The Year
Totenham beat Wigan 9-1!!!! Not even any sendings off, Defoe scores 5, if only I had him in my fantasy side.
Wow thought you were having a laugh when I read this the first time. Wigan really are Jekkyl/Hyde this year.

Good stuff from Rovers too :)

Yeah, how long till the 9 disc commemorative DVD comes out?

In other news, Patrice Evra said this: "Who made the mistake? The referee.

"When I think that certain politicians want to replay the match... They don't even know if the ball is round or oval and they would be the first to come and drink champagne in South Africa.

"The replay, I'll do it when you want on a Playstation."

Not sure whether to laugh or call him a complete ****.

Evra's a legend, as much as I was pissed at the handball, when he turns around and says that, cant help but love the crazy little bugger. The guy is off his rocker though

"I'll do it when you want on my Playstation"

Heh, quite outstanding bit of ****ery, if only he did it the day after the game.

TBH, expect comments like that from Evra, never been one to mince words and do the boring soundbyte. Told the press Ronaldo didnt dare to stepovers in training for fear of Patrice putting him on his arse. The guys missing more screws than an Air France plane.

My fave was when he said Utd-Arsenal was men against boys and then wondered why the boys kicked the **** out of him the next time they played. Loon, so easy hateable if he plays for the opposition but I can see why you'd love him. He's like a nastier, better footballer version of Eboue.

From what I saw from Everton, Owen's almost getting back into his game, his movement is a joy to behold, still looking a bit rusty though.

If
A) He stays fit
B) He gets used to united's play, and more importantly if Utd players get used to Owen's off the ball ability
C) He hits top form

he should make the plane IMO. On his day he can be devestating, when he's got his eye in he's the perfect impact sub.

Haha, hmm. Not such a reputation for theatrics as Eboue. Can see where you're coming from though.

Owen's movement has been a class above all season.

He's actually a pretty poor finisher though.

I know it was only in the leagu cup but his goal against Barnsley was just wonderfull to watch, reminded me of the difference between a good striker who will get himself a lot of goals, say Darren Bent and the highest class, Fernando Torres. There are still elements of that sort striker in Owen and I really hope he makes it to South Afirca.

Yeah, was a quality goal.

Personally I'm a big fan of the guy. Think he's a threat to any defence in the world. But his finishing just isn't very good at the moment, he misses so, so many more chances than he scores. Because he always goes in behind, most of his chances are from inside the penalty box where hitting the target just isn't enough.

NUFAN

Y no Afghanistan flag
So awesome by Spurs putting 9 past any Premier League team. :)

Probably the greatest EPL win this century.
