I'm really unsure on our openers. I doubt Watling will succeed immediately, he and Guptill will star in many partnerships of 60-70/0 before NZ ending up 80/2 for at least this summer.
Cumming is probably in the same boat.
Brodie is having a good start to his career but he has to prove himself over a longer period imo.
I don't rate McIntoshs chances of staying in the side.
It's now make or break time for Flynn. He's either going to kick on or get dropped. I personally think it will be the latter. I suspect in several years he'll be a consistent quality player on the domestic scene and for NZ A though and with any luck, depending on what our next number three(s) does, he'll make a return to the NZ top order a better player.
