One thing I have found about the last few editions of FM, is that Arsenal still dominate the Premiership even when they make no signings of any note, something I'm not particularly bothered about, but it hardly reflects reality.

Plus, it helped me break even after a ridiculous spending spree.

I always struggle to sell players that I like in real life Getting a ridiculous amout of bids for Sagna and Clichy but I'm not selling either of them.

Great result! Beat United 1-0 down to 9 men with Sagna and Eboue being sent off. Walcott scored a penalty in the 88th minute before United had a goal disallowed for offside in the 97th minute. Yes 97th, 96:02 to be precise.

Denilson is just stupidly solid for me. Very few 7.5 or 8's but always hovers around the 7 mark in regards to performance. Has been upped to 7.1's and 2's as the season progressed.

Actually on the verge of sealing the title playing 4-2-3-1. van Persie went down but Eduardo was a goal a game for me in the meantime and Bendtner was a supersub who got me 3 wins and a couple of draws late straight off the bat.

Probably should have bought a defender though, Djourou doesn't come back till March and Gallas and Vermaelen both went down at the same time. My dream come true of Senderos-Silvestre happened but Phil turned out to be very very good for me so I offered him a new deal. Wilshere and Ramsey were both brilliant out on loan (to Palace and WBA), so I'm going to let Rosicky walk, flog Diaby and promote those two and Nortdveit to the rotation next season.

They toned down Vela a lot this year so will probably sell him and bring in a quality AM/FC because I might switch to 4-4-2 at some stage and I'll need the extra striker with Dudu and Rvp so brittle.

EDIT: Will probably sell Silvestre and Traore too.

I'm playing with a 4-3-2-1 myself. Pretty much our formation in real life with 3 in the middle and then the 2 attacking wide men + Van Persie.
Eduardo isn't doing much for me, gets the odd goal when he plays but he's not consistent. Agree about Bendtner, 1-0 down to Chelsea in the 68th minute he comes on a nets a brace to take all 3 points.. also got a late equaliser in the CL..
I've loaned out about 5 or 6 players IIRC..Let Gibbs and Wilshere go with recall options.

For some reason Rice rates Senderson as much (possibly more) than Vernaelen
Also when you have tactics meetings, does Rice disagree with everything being said?

First season: Promoted through playoffs from BSN to BSP.
Second season (as of 7th March): 6th, one point off playoffs position. Doing well considering I'm supposed to be "attempting to avoid relegation".

Playing as a modified version of Alfreton Town (ie, changed name, city, stadium, left players, finances, etc.) and aiming to do what I did last time in getting them to win the PL and CL. Eventually.

I have signed Rafael van der Vaart (on loan), Angel di Maria (loan), Jorge Andrade (he is a free agent), a Brazilian called Henrique from Cruzerio (transfer), Adriano (transfer), Dani Guiza (transfer), and young Belgian prospect Romelu Lukaku from Anderlecht. I get Brazilian midfielder Jadson on a free from Shakhtar Donetsk. I have sold a few guys and I'm probably looking at one more centre back. Juan Mata tried to engineer a move to Real Madrid and even asked to placed on the transfer list, but they never did, and the only club that put in a bid was Shakhtar Donetsk who took him on a season loan. Suck **** ****. Rot in Ukraine for all I care. And I managed to convince Shakhtar that is they want to buy him outright, they have to pay me £20m.

BTW, has the new update patch for all the competition names etc. come out yet?

I had to sell (Zigic, Maduro, Baraja, Ignacio González, Miku) and muck around by editing the budget, by taking less money for wages but more transfer money. For players like van der Vaart and di Maria, I'm only paying half their wages, as that is what Real Madrid and Benfica want. Andrade is very cheap, less then £12k a week.The wages for my players is not that high, what David Silva earns (£31,500k) a week is less then a day's pay for Emmanuel Adabayor. Although that's it, if I want to buy in the future, then I will have to sell.

Although it is a bit weird looking at Hannover and seeing Robert Enke there.

Just use the old one.

Oh and started dafuge's challenge on the SI forum and managed to promote Boston Utd in first place in the BSn at the first try. Forst round of the FA Cup and 4th Round of the FA Trophy as well.
