Matt, suprised at lack of
Tony Shaw or Mick McGuane
Jeff White

Tall, athletic, and versatile... used to be an awesome ruckman until the new ruck circle rule came into place.

Could just run and use his leap, shocking his knee into the opposition ruckmen.

Rule changed his footy career really.

C: S. Hart, T Edwards, Deledio

Happy enough with that. Given my time over I'd rethink my backline but hey.

Hmm, I think I'm slightly short in the backline. Grant can go forward if required, so I've been tossing up between this guy and Peter Dean. But this fella was a brick wall in his prime, and I'm going to go with him. I think that I have enough run in the flanks and the wings to have a key position player on the bench, and most teams you guys have selected have reasonably tall forward lines. Thus, my last selection is Michael Brennan.

B: Rohan Smith, Ashley McIntosh, David King
HB: Andrew McKay, Chris Grant, Wayne Campbell
C: Peter Matera, Darren Jarman, Simon Goodwin
HF: Stephen Tingay, Wayne Carey (C), Dean Kemp
F: Phil Matera, John Longmire, Luke Power
R: Shaun Rehn, Mark Riccuito, Johnny Platten

Int: Luke Darcy, Bowen Lockwood, Mark Bairstow, Michael Brennan

It's a tall bench, but my team out on the ground is pretty small. Would probably have Brennan on the ground and one of Smith/King on the bench, but reckon that my rotations would be up to the modern game.

Any big name players miss out? Somewhat suprised Scott Wynd and to a lesser extent Joe Misiti, Mal Michael, John Barnes and Max Hudghton aren't there.

Add Jason Johnson and Camporeale there.

Didn't have a chance to have Mal Michael because Howard already filled full back, and I don't think Michael could be the CHB I want. Same with Hudghton.

Was thinking between Barnes and Gardiner, but reckon Gardiner at his peak is better.

Was tossing up between Misiti and Knights, went Knightsi. Same with Johnson and Camporeale as well, decided Knights over them all.

Wynd I completely missed.

No one took Tony Shaw either hey?

The more I think about it, the more shocked I am that Mal Michael wasn't selected.

Yeah I was shocked myself, wish I could've brought myself to take him but him playing for Essendon and not being the coolest **** alive ala. Solomon means I couldn't do it.

And I just feel a bit uneasy without a pure CHB. I know Glass could do the job comfortably but it just doesn't feel right.

If I were choosing from the start (no offence to you Howard) I would have had Michael ahead of Presti, and Everitt would not have lasted as long as he did. I would have got him, and probably tried to get as many of Barry Hall, Paul Salmon and Gary Lyon as possible. They were chosen quite late IMO.

Really would have wanted Salmon in my team.
