*Official* Australia in India - ODIs

Really? He was shocking in the last FR Cup match, especially at the end.
Yeah he bowled a fantastic spell to get 3 quick top order wickets against QLD in the 4 day match. I didn't see him bowl against QLD in the ford ranger though which is probably a better indication.

This is a cracker of a series....any idea why Gambhir was left out of the 4th of ODI? If there is a geniune match winner in Indian team right now its Gambhir.......he must play every game...Kholi is garbage....

Dhoni has probably been the best Indian batsman this series..Yuvraj has also won one match..But the rest namely the Rainas and Kohlis need to step up and justify their selection.
I hope Sehwag gets going soon

Kohli will turn out to be really really good its Raina who I find quite poor.

Can't wait for McKay to debut. Every time I've seen bowl he's been class.

Might not make the step up, you never know, but certainly deserves the shot.

I think it's the worry about the upcoming tests that has everyone so frustrated mate.
Well if you had to throw in a bunch of guys who haven't done it before, a home series against the Windies is as good a start as you can hope for.

A fifth player injured? Crazy. Voges will come back in, presumably. I would have thought Australia will have to fly out a spare batsman now, even if they just get to Mumbai for the last match. David Hussey, or I guess maybe MacDonald will come.

You'll never catch us in terms of injuries.
Ryder, Mills, Tuffey, Elliott, Oram and Vettori have all been injured in the past month or two.
Haddin, Paine, Clarke, Ferguson, Hopes, Henriques, Lee, Siddle, Bracken.

Reckon we can tbh :p

maybe the WICB will release a statement signalling their concern about facing a 2nd string line up in this summers test series...

Haha **** me, when will it end!?

Edit: Could almost form an XI out of the players injured:

Haddin
Paine
----
Clarke
Ferguson
----
Hopes
Henriques
Lee
Siddle
Bracken

Batting a bit light and lacking a spinner, but decent enough pace attack.
So no different from the regular XI, then? :p

Gold.

Apparently Lee wil be back in training next week according to the radio. Elbow soreness from a longstanding bone spur was the cause, not the fact he chucks his quicker one as everyone at CA thought, but didn't have the balls to say.

Siddle's return home seems more precautionary than anything else. But if both he and Lee are in doubt and Doug bowls well, he might jag himself a birth for the 1st Test (assuming he doesn't trip over his cornflakes and break his ankle like every other bastard has this tour).
