Got savagely torn apart in my Cup game, despite having better ratings. Sigh. Will have to have a thinksy.

Really need to get me a decent allrounder before the team can progress any further.

With only 3m, I'll have to train one up. Is it worth trying to train someone with only worthless consistency though? Would be able to give them 2 bat, 2 bowl, 1 fielding and 1 stamina.

If going for a pull, go full ITS on bat and bowl, then any extras left over on conc and cons (like 4-5 each). You'll be training for a long time I'd imagine, he won't play straight away, his stamina and secondaries will be alright then with a good primary (at least med on both) to start with.

I just sold a 19yo superb-mediocre, respectable-mediocre all-rounder for 1.5m. He was about to pop in bowling and half way to popping in everything else, would've been alright if you'd been able to keep giving him those nets for 2-3 seasons and wouldn't have bust the bank.

Apologies.

Nah sok,

Only been checking BT once a week, looked at my squad today and thought....yeah I need a proper allrounder :p

Spending 2-2.5m Nath, have put 2 bids on 17y/o's with resp bowling, med batting/conc/stamina but worthless consistency (only 3/4k expect them to go higher, but just so i could track 'em, find out some idea of prices etc.) but I'm going to go hard unless it's worth it.

YP is out of the question, as apparently I'd taken off ITS investment, so have no training sessions up my sleave.

Using ITS at this stage would be stupidity at its finest anyway for mine.

For 2-2.5mil, you could get yourself a fine trainee if you have nets spare. Definately the way to go.

EDIT: Such as

Barry Garwood
Malcolm Skea
Jim Mcgoldrick (18yo)
Sriram Suppiah (18yo)
Sansuka Hameen (19yo)

Just found this bloke. About the best i can find on the market atm. If i gave him 2 fielding nets (and no stamina) to start with to get the conc/cons up it might be the way to go.

EDIT: May leave it a couple weeks though, not 100% where the blokes i'm taking the nets off are at.

Two fielding nets gives nothing extra then one fielding net interms of secondaries training. You need 1 fld/1 wk to flood secondaries. I'm sure you know that just forgot though.

Haha Nafe. God forbid someone plays the game differently to the way every single douchebag on that site does. "Wow u train from feeble? LOL Y U EVEN BOTHE RJUS QYUIT LOLOLOLO"

For really? When you have the $$$ that Clapo has, how would an ITS trainee be worthwhile?

Because he can do whatever he likes? You don't have to play the game the same way as everyone else. Long term he'll still have a good player in his side for many seasons to come, in reality all he does is lose 4 weeks of training. But naw, U NEEDZ U-19Z SKILS

Nate

You'll Never Walk Alone
Ah, alright. I thought it would be a larger gap than four weeks. Considering Clapo's concern for want of an all-rounder, I assumed purchasing one would be the only choice. But my limited knowledge of the YA/ITS has shown up again. (Y)
