Anyone have much info on Brady Jones? I have heard he is a very tidy wicketkeeper, just not that strong with the bat. Listed at 9 in the batting order probably confirms this.

Both sides will probably be happy with the start today. Wells is a good prospect for Tasmania, be nice to see him score a big century after just missing out against the Vics last season.

Surprised SA didn't open with Cleary. He should be leading the attack and today's conditions are tailor-made for a swing bowler like him. And, sure enough, he's taken the first wicket.

Also very surprised they've gone with Duval over Haberfield. Seemed to be coming along nicely last year.

Ah, Wells gone. I was just about to post the match is very much in the balance, I suppose it still is. A big stand here, or a couple of wickets, could turn the match in either teams favour.

Heh, O'Brien takes his wicket for the season. Can relax now.

This match is a draw. Throwing it down right now and forecast to get worse as the weeks wears on.

Either way, liking South Australia's bowling attack. Very promising group of young, tall pacemen.

Agree. I have huge faith in George, almost the perfect mix of factors that make a good pace bowler (tall, accurate, solid action, decent pace, touch of movement).

Slightly disagree. George/Duval/Christian are med-fast length bowlers, none of them consistently past 140Km/h. Adelaide grade cricket is full of them and that a bloke like McGrath managed not one 5-fer at Adelaide says a lot about what sort of bowlers tend to struggle there (that said, he did take a couple of 4-fers). Always prefer it when there's at least one angry man in a pace bowling line-up, a leader of it to marshall the troops if things aren't going well. Reckon SA's current attack will struggle without favourable conditions.

Agree with most of that. My post was talking about their quality, not in relation to how they'll go winning the Shield.

True but I just don't think they're that good. :) Can't see any of them, for example, pushing to play higher. Why do you think Duval came back to SA?

I love domestic cricket. I can only follow on Cricket.com.au though. Does anyone know how to watch games on the internet?
Was obviously talking about OD games, they are through Fox, could I pick up a stream of Fox OD's?
Haha, fairly sure Nath's laughter's due to the fact that any streams you find online are inevitably going to be illegal, so not really something you want to talk about on CW.

You are thinking like a mod now Andy and that's not a good thing.

Bats 9 for Tassie, if he was playing for QLD he'd be at 6!

Walter gets the wicket, heard he's a very promising cricketer..

5 bowlers to choose from, utterly perfect conditions to bowl and Cosgrove gets the ball. Geez.

Over 45.1: Cosgrove to Bailey, three runs, drives between the bowler and mid on (who is a little wide) as more rain starts to fall - 2/117

Talking about the fielder or the bowler?
