There'll be no points for picking draws, therefore whoever wins the first innings will be regarded as the winner for the tips. What do you do for draws? Pick the team to get first innings points?

Okay I go for Tassie then. There'll be no points for picking draws, therefore whoever wins the first innings will be regarded as the winner for the tips.
Time for some brockley feature pieces on the main site.
Noffers is a champion, legend and the only way that QLD will pick their best 6/4 is if they drop Simpson - not gonna happen.Okay I go for Tassie then.
Filthy at QLD Cricket, surely bowling Simpson in the 50th over wasn't a smart move, I mean it's Chris Simpson he had no chance - the man with the golden touch Carseldine should have bowled.
McDermott better play in the four dayer and qld better pick the best 6 batsman and 4 best bowlers, very unlikely tbh.
Indeed.I can see the two new balls resulting in a lot of low scoring games. To be brutally honest, there aren't a lot of quality domestic batsmen in Australia. It could have a big effect on games.
Maybe it's because Chris Simpson is that far away from playing for Australia he'd be right to be concentrating on the job he has, because tbf he's lucky to even be playing 1st grade cricket.I don't claim to know much about domestic cricket in Australia, but I can't understand why Queensland wouldn't want Noffke in their one-day and T20 teams. I thought he was a quality all-rounder.
Also, I was reading an interview with the coach and I was a bit bemused, because he said about Simpson "It's refreshing to have someone who wants to do what he has to do (for his team) rather than having other agendas like wanting to play for Australia." I don't know if that's a side-swipe at players like Noffke and Watson, but it seems a bit of an odd thing to say.
It's not the only unusual comment I've heard from QLD this year. The one about the batsman needing to perform well because if they don't they can't pick Dan Doran was fairly odd too.I don't claim to know much about domestic cricket in Australia, but I can't understand why Queensland wouldn't want Noffke in their one-day and T20 teams.
