Thoughts on the new rule of two new balls being used in each innings, one from either end?

How often have you seen a domestic team play a batsman with an average of 20 at 6 and 12 at 7.

That's what Hartley and Simpson average, really does show that QLD are a batsman short.

Definately for it. Something different, should keep things interesting during the middle overs.

Love it TBH, have called for it before. Gets rid of the stupid mandatory ball change rule and encourages attacking bowling.

It'll be interesting to see if it impacts on the spinners. I suppose the fielding team could shine one ball and rough the other ball up.

As a batsman I don't think I would enjoy facing different balls at the start of my innings.

Will be interested to see the contrast between the two cricket balls at the end of the 50 overs.

Love the two new balls rule btw. Makes it tougher for the batsmen as opposed to introducing the new ball later when it makes it easier to hit the ball.

QLD cricket's worst EVER move to get rid of Noffke! Really dumb.

Wouldn't write the Bulls off completely yet. Pretty good looking pace attack, can't believe Cutting and McDermott haven't played a One Day Match yet.

Dissapointing kick off to the season for the Bulls. Look a very unlikely team to retain the FRC, no batting depth, no Noffke, too much reliance upon Carseldine.

Looking forward to watching Alister McDermott, yet to see him bowl.

Wasn't writing them off. They won many of their games last season defending this sort of total. Was commenting on the Noffke move, given that he wanted to play for us and only moved after we weren't going to offer him one day games.

Yeh, it's funny how they poached SA's only serious all-rounder and best bowler, Ryan Harris, accusing SACA (rightly) of lack of foresight in treating him contractually like he's a hack, about to keel over, etc. then did the exact same thing the next season to Noffers!
