Good to see Man U on top of the league. In how much time does Arsenal - Fulham start? Will probably switch from the cricket to it.

Arsenal escape a tough fixture with maximum points thanks to Mannone and a sharpe finish from RVP. The young keeper did a great job today, get the feeling that with Szczesny playing well in the Carling Cup the time for Fabianski may well and truly be up. Good win this, defence did a good job for large amounts of the game, and though the creative side wasn't really there the one good chance created was taken, and the points are in the bag, pretty pleased tbh.

Wycombe away on Tuesday, if we can go there and win then it takes us off the bottom (I count us as being bottom as Southampton have earned more points than us). God knows we shouldn't ever be worried about a trip to Wycombe but with Millwall away next Saturday (guaranteed 0 points) we need to get the most of the game on Tues.

Meanwhile I've sorted my first away trip of the season for the following Tuesday, Bury away in the JP. £6 in and £2 petrol, winner

I doubt it. We only didn't lose because we're playing tomorrow live on Sky. They've given away 10,000 tickets to local schools to ensure a full house. It's going to sound like a Take That concert.
You from Plymouth are you? It's all to do with World Cup bid. Going to be a nightmare for me though, I'm playing on the pitch next door so traffic is going to be horrendous.

That's another acute embarrassment. I'm just glad it's on at a time when most sane people won't be watching.

, can't think of a reason why hosting any matches down this way would be worthwhile anyway. I won't complain though if it ends up meaning that some of the worlds best footballers are playing in a stadium 20 minutes away from my house..

The stadium isn't even half ready for International Football and there's no point whatsoever in making it that size.
