Soward kicked Inglis and got off a few weeks back.

Lockyer went within a whisker of doing it on the weekend to Morris iirc.

Don't really see what that's got to do with tripping tbh. Can more understand a player desperately trying to get their leg/ foot on the ball as a try is being scored than I can a bloke just throwqing a leg out to trip someone in general play.

Neither is positive, but that is so much more dangerous. I cringe every time I see someone diving in with their studs up near someone's face.

I'd just go with the extra running forward, and good defender like Carroll. I'd try to smash Melbourne into oblivion like with the Dragons early doors. Besides, I think if Lock, KHunt, Hodges, Izzy etc can't get us home, BHunt probably isn't going to have much influence.

It will be an inside-ball-athon with Hunt, Taylor, Carroll and Slats!

The inside defenders trailing across the field will need to be on red alert - for both teams.

Yeah, certainly more dangerous and not condoning it, just sayng I can understand a player reacting like that close to the line more than I can the blatant tripping effort from the Broncos Centre Halfback.

He's named Alex Glenn at half, obviously it will be one of the fowards playing 5/8 and Locky at halfback. In fact we probably wont even play with a 5/8 and have an extra running forward.

Will be a great weekend if Parra get up and the Broncos lose. Was a huge Parra fan as a kid, even though I don't really follow any team now.

Failing that it'll be great if the Broncos lose the next weekend to whoever they play against.

I just need to say this early in the week, coz by Friday my eyes will be spinning.

I hate Canterbury. No, I ****ing despise them. I hate their fans, who are 98 per cent grubs. I hate their attitude to women. I hate their off field indiscretions which are never their fault.

I hate their "winning culture" - which apparently equates to two premierships in 20 years. Even the Broncos don't bang on about their winning culture as much as Canterbury. And they actually have one.

I hate that they brought Wozza ball to the game in the 80s, that they turned Steve Mortimer from a great attacking player into the Prince of Darkness.

I hate their fibreglass shoulder pads, I hate their bombing St George out of the 85 GF.

I hate them claiming they grow their own talent, when they've had more high profile imports in the past 15 years than even Souths.

I hate them being allowed to keep a squad put together by systematic cheating in 02 so they could win the comp in 04.

I hate the culture they've produced, which gave the world Willie Mason and Dunny Bill Williams. I hate them for Coffs Harbou and for the siege mentality which came from it and their blaming the media for everything when in fact they're just the grubbiest outfit ever to disgrace a football field.

They are the most horrible, in-bred pieces of **** in professional sport. A pizzling is too good for them.

My hatred is such that I think it will hurt more than the Ashes loss if they beat us.

Yeh all that. I don't hate them as much as I hate most Sydney sides but really comapring Bulldogs and any of Tigers/Eels/Roosters/Manly is asking do you prefer being beaten with a baseball bat or a cricket bat.

Don't have a major problem with the Tigers or Eels. Despise the Rorters and Manly though. Can't stand the Dogs either.

I'd like to see Parra win, but I really think they'll need Mortimer. Really don't rate Robson (although he's improved recently) and Mateo knows how to have a shocking game when he wants to.

Haha, remember the old days when they'd replay it if there was still a draw after extra time? IIRC Norths had to play on a Monday or Tuesday night one year to get in after finishing equal 5th or something, then back up on the Saturday to play the semi.
