The Wheel is Forever
A single big score is dependent on a lot of factors, and I don't see the big deal in achieving it, in terms of how they should be rated.
A 100 100's would be a dream for his fans. Truly the greatest batsman since Bradman..
Oops, did I just flog a dead horse
I don't think it is a big deal - but it would be a bonus if he got there. And would add to the legend. I just hope it is against a top 8 team and not Zimbabwe like Hayden's triple.A single big score is dependent on a lot of factors, and I don't see the big deal in achieving it, in terms of how they should be rated.
That would just be harsh rather than funny. Would probably find it funny if it was against Australia in the WC final, which India lost, though.I can't see him getting it thinking realisticly, but with Sachin, it's possible. Needs to score a heck load of runs and stop getting out in the 90's though.
On a side note, I'd laugh so hard if he got out of 99 in his last game with 99 tons. Every Indian/Tendulkar fan would neck themselves.
If this happened, reckon it would go down in cricketing immortality and possibly knock off Bradman's 99.94 as the best cricket statistic.I can't see him getting it thinking realisticly, but with Sachin, it's possible. Needs to score a heck load of runs and stop getting out in the 90's though.

Especially if it was the last ball of the match with 1 to win. I'd probably just sit there for ages until I burst out laughing when I realized what happened. Almost cracking a laugh just thinking about it. Smiling, TBH.That would just be harsh rather than funny. No way, it would be awesome. It'd be such a fantastic statistic to have. And like Bradman's 99.94, it would be something that would define him forever. On a side note, I'd laugh so hard if he got out of 99 in his last game with 99 tons. Every Indian/Tendulkar fan would neck themselves.
I don't think so, but it would be awesome nonetheless. If this happened, reckon it would go down in cricketing immortality and possibly knock off Bradman's 99.94 as the best cricket statistic.
Yeah I've thought that. TBF, I was wondering if he was going to retire from Tests to concentrate on ODIs a little while back. Still not happened yet.Be interesting to see whether he retires from Tests or ODIs first.
I'm sure there was a quote from Tendulkar a while back about 15,000 runs and a conversation with Sunil Gavaskar that he'd had where Gavaskar told him that he'd be extremely disappointed if Tendulkar didn't achieve that landmark.Yeah I've thought that. Reckon you'd struggle to even find an Australian who wouldn't love that.My ideal Sachin dream is to see him score 200 chasing against Australia in the 2011 WC final, with India reeling in a massive target. May have to recall Mick Lewis for that to happen tho
Still, would be a gun and a great way to cap off his career.
Reckon Bill Lawry might be one, tbh.Reckon you'd struggle to even find an Australian who wouldn't love that.
