Yusuf chops one and is out first-ball. He's not satisfied, standing ground. He thinks it's floored.

His luck doesn't seem to get any better, does it?

Two guys in form Tendulkar and Dhoni set India up .... others seem to be struggling though it's not easy for someone to start firing straight away .... May be Sir Agarkar would have be hit a quick 50 here :p

Fifteen wides and counting. The 300 is well within reach. Yuvraj in sublime form.

Their strike bowlers, Malinga and Mendis, have finished with 150 runs conceded in 20 overs. Kulasekara doesn't look like he'll complete ten overs, for some reason.

260 at the end of 45 .... 12 an over from now on should get them to 320. if they don't then they should kick themselves
India finishes off at 319 .... that saves them from kicking their own butt

Btw, when Sehwag, Gambhir and Zak come back, they would hopefully replace Raina, YP and RP .... and that makes the side very strong .... may be WC11 champs :)

SL to struggle to get to 200.

Kula criminally underbowled.
Surprisingly. Kula finishes under five, while the more penetrative Malinga and Mendis finish with an unenviable combined economy of 7.5 and only two wickets. Their fielding was also very patchy, with catches dropped, direct throws missed and a few shots not stopped neatly.

The Indians seemed to struggle to hit the big ones today. Several attempts at hitting sixes ended up in catching chances, or bounced to the fielders. The running between wickets was very impressive, though. Every batsman in the team, except Dravid and Yusuf, struck over 90, with Sachin, Yuvraj, Kohli and Raina striking over 100.

It looks like India is finally going to win a one-off ODI final.

However thanks to the dumb scheduling, I and countless other Indians have missed a special innings by Tendulkar.

This total of 319 appears unassailable. Colombo day-nighters follow a formula. Will the Indians defend this successfully, despite their middle-overs bowling weakness? Everything depends on how well the opening bowlers fare, as they'll have to take enough Lankan wickets so that they can't take advantage of the part-time buffet.

Its too early to say that India can win cause Jaya and Dilscoop has other ideas...

SL 60/0 after 7 overs

Dilshan 38* [ 24 ]
Jayasuriya 21* [ 18 ]

They have Mahela and Sanga to come with inform Kandamby...

Its gonna be a tight finish!

Doesn't matter what kind of finish it is as long as Ind wins it :p

Having said that the bowlers and fielders will have to emulate the batsmen and come up with a fine performance
