LOL without trying I've picked the opposite to Simon except we both stayed loyal to our Broncos. Not too confident on Panthers winning but I would rather them in the 8. Think Eels will just get the money over the Dragons who will do enough tomorrow night to suggest they are back.

Didn't notice that Melbourne have signed up St George Illawarra centre Chase Stanley and Cronulla back-rower Atelea Vea, both on two year deals. They are also promoting Jesse Bromwich, Gareth Widdop, Justin O'Neill and Luke Kelly from the NYC.

Widdop is an interesting one, even though he is a Brit (moved here when he was 15 or 16), his family moved to Melbourne so all his league education would of been done in Melbourne, could he count as a local player?

Aye, interesting as you say. Seems odd he'd go for league in Melbourne if he'd never played it in the UK, I'd think. My bet is he's from Lancs or Yorks originally.
