Looks like it's going to be another one of those stupid situations where it's not raining, there's a full house, and no cricket happens.

Off to Old Trafford in a bit so that means it's gonna lob it down to greet my arrival. I'm going in fancy dress as Shane Warne if anyone wants to look out for me. Hoping to be able to stick it to a few crims in the crowd as well. Come on boys!
It's not lobbing it down to greet your arrival, it just does that in Manchester.

It's a good point that Nasser makes, about letting the crowd know asap if they're not going to play. It looks cold and miserable sitting there, and there's a good number of kids in.

Lovely blue skies in London. Bull****.

If you are going to have international cricket in September, have it in places where it isn't likely to rain all the time.

Should get Oasis to come in and play a few numbers to entertain the waiting fans.

Oh wait ...

Looks like the sun is out now but there is some huge dark clouds around the ground.

Just need to get out there.

Sick and tired of Ravi talk. Nasser, world class number 3...

Be a farce if the umpire decide in bright sunshine that they will be a further delay.

Toss should happen immediately and play begins at 7.15.

Agreed, but likely since apparently it's waterlogged and there were huge downpours all afternoon.

Agree with that, this isn't a Test match, they need to make a bit of an effort. The run-ups are covered anyway, and all the fielders will be in spikes.

Assuming there's no further rain, they should be starting by 7.30 and play about 15 overs a side.

TBF to Nass he said something like "it's only four tests since he scored three hundreds and looked a world class number three" and then even then he offered the "only the Windies" caveat too.

Scheduling shocking tho. Manchester in Septemeber? Rain? What are the odds? 8-)

Apologises then.

Was speaking to the missus and heard world class, Ravi and put two and two together and got five.

Nasser says he reckons the umpires want to start at 8pm but both captains are complaining about the run up at one end.
