Cricketer Of The Year
Another wide delivery from Broad... good bowling to his plan.
Not the sort of phrase I like to associate myself with itbtTo be fair to Clarke too, he's done the right thing here just taking singles to get White on strike rather than wafting away and having dot balls.
True true... me neither. He's so irritating. Not the sort of phrase I like to associate myself with itbt
Hate how the commentators try to crack that 25 off 31 is actually a really good innings just because someone happens to be playing well at the other end.To be fair to Clarke too, he's done the right thing here just taking singles to get White on strike rather than wafting away and having dot balls.
It's way better than 10 off 5 balls in this circumstance. It rarely happens that you have two guys creaming it around.Hate how the commentators try to crack that 25 off 31 is actually a really good innings just because someone happens to be playing well at the other end.

Nah, Clarke still had to hit out once he'd got himself in. Sometimes people look at the scoreboard and it says 60/3 after ten and they think, "****, need to dig in and rebuild here", but there's only ten overs left. If you were three wickets down with ten overs of an ODI left to play you wouldn't dream of digging in.It's way better than 10 off 5 balls in this circumstance. Of course, once White got out he needed to become the guy that hits out.
Hmm... I reckon they've got a decent total here, I don't think it's a 160-170 pitch.Nah, Clarke still had to hit out once he'd got himself in. Hmmm, looks about par to me. Could have been a lot more if Clarke wasn't so turgid.Hmm... I reckon they've got a decent total here, I don't think it's a 160-170 pitch.
It's probably because if D/L comes into the equation to any extent it's a guaranteed win for England.Bookies make us big favourites at 8/13 - Aus 6/5.
I know who I'd back if I hadn't already got on them earlier!
