Inglis should be rep player of the year, was Origin player of ths series and was good in the test match. If Hayne wins it that would be a case of the judges getting carried away with his club form.

Even Homebush won't be big enough if the Dogs and Parra square off in the first week of the finals.

Aren't enough cops to go around either.

Drop Inglis charges, lawyer says - foxsports.com.au

Burgey can I ask you something, if this is true, why did the police move so fast in charging Inglis? Either there were holes in the statements given to police or they were were after a result in laying charges against Inglis.
Sorry mate I didn't see this until now.

Not sure in Victoria, but in NSW, when it comes to domestic violence if there's a report the police almost always proceed to an AVO if the victim fears for her safety, and. If there's evidence from third parties like noise, argument etc combined with physical signs (even if not said by victim to be caused by an attack), they'll often charge.

Personally not as down on that as I would be with other offences, as I despise domestic violence like few other offences. It's not uncommon for the charges to be dropped later. As always, sometimes they should be dropped, other times the victim just refuses to testify.

Absolute outrage at Brookvale today. Manly, with 15 men on the field (two wearing pink) absolutely gyped the Sharks today.

Jeez Cronulla were brave. The clearly better side lost that game.

I thought Luke Douglas being sent off was pretty harsh.

41,835 people at Hazem's final home game.

Covell was apprently crying in his inverview straight after the game, so it must've hit 'em hard.

If you get a chance, have a listen to his interview with the ABC, will probably cost him $10K - talked about getting "this crap from the refs every week" sort of thing.

Was quality actually.

On the Sunday Roast today, they showed Lockyer's post-match celebration after the Cowboy's game. After they whipped themselves up into a frenzy from singing the team song, Lock threw an esky down on the ground and, like a wild beast capturing its prey, jumped all over it. Was a classic.

He is pumped for September!

Must say its great to see people telling it how it really is...

That decision was one of, if not the most disgraceful send off decisions i've ever seen..
Yeh exactly, so sick of the officials getting away with ruining the game, how about some accountability for a change.

Surely the match review committee will look at Kite's hit on Brown late in that game, and also the elbow in the 1st half (can't recall which Manly player pulled that off).

Manly might be down a couple next week if they do.

Massive blow to the Dogs with Kimmorley getting hurt. It just keeps opening up for the juggernaut to roll on to October (then lose ignominiously when it counts most).

Interested to see Titans are still $10 7th favourites for the comp. When you consider the other top 4 sides all have something going against them, Dragons (choking), Bulldogs (Losing Kimmorley), Storm (Soft pack), they are looking good value and are slipping under the radar a bit.

Completely agree with this. They've been very consistent, and with the Dragons looking shaky, and the Dogs missing Kimmorley they've got as good a shot as anyone.

In other news another clown gets himself into trouble. Roosters star charged by police - NRL Premiership - Fox Sports
